I have been a governor in two other secondary schools, a primary school and an infant’s school. I am currently also a parent governor in Coed Y Brain primary school in Llanbradach.

My eldest daughter is currently in year 9, following in the footsteps of both her mother and grandmother who also attended Lewis Girls School many years ago. We live in Maesycwmmer and have family in Llanbradach and understand the importance that the school has at the heart of its local community.

Why you become a Governor:

I think it is very important for parents and carers to support their child’s school if they can. Being a governor and giving my support and time to both the governing body and the Headteacher in any way I can is my way of thanking Mrs Harding and her excellent staff for all that they are doing for our children.
